Philosophy

The Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery was created to give women the same feeling of support that Sheikha Sana feels when she thinks of her late grandmother- her guardian butterfly. This is why it was important to embed certain values into the line from start to finish that represent the woman who started it all.

Honesty

The essence of honest business is highlighted through Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery’s dedication that every piece of diamond and precious stone used in our jewellery is certified through the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS)- a process established by the United Nations in 2000 as an effort to stop the trade of conflict diamonds.

Additionally, further building on the concept of doing honest business, Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery Collection is committed to ensuring that only the highest quality diamonds are sourced for use in our jewellery. Every diamond that goes into our pieces is of top quality (VVS-VS ) which means that the diamond clarity is very high as no “inclusions” or imperfections can be seen with the naked eye. Of all the factors that make a diamond beautiful, clarity and brilliance are some of the most important and we are dedicated to providing the best jewellery possible.

Ethics

Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery is committed to ensuring that only the highest quality diamonds are sourced for use in our jewellery. Every diamond that goes into our pieces is a hand-picked to ensure that it is top quality (VVS-VS ) and is expertly placed by the finest craftsmen to create each piece.

Fair working conditions

Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery selects gold workshops not only based on their skill but also based on their commitment to treating their craftsmen with respect and fairness so as to generate meaningful benefits to the whole society through job-creation and environmental responsibility.
